I forget which.Īlso, as "fate" would have it, a day or two before I saw the news of Tom's passing, I wheeled and dealed selling a few things and picked up a "slightly used" (and I mean very slightly going by appearance) Jennings Uniforce for hunting this year. I sold it to a buddy and we got to talking about bows etc (that time of year) and he took it off the wall where it has sat over 20 years and we checked it out, and shot a few. Hindsight with that type of limb tells me I maybe could have saved the day by cranking it down when leaving it hang? No clue. I'd still have the Elephant bow had not the laminated limbs DE-laminate. Several others including a "Jennings Elephant Bow" that was over 100lbs but ended up at 96 after we shortened the string to give me my draw length and another from the late 70s that I just shot last night. 25 percent let off if my memory has not failed me. I had one of the very earliest Wood handled bows. The bows above of his creation drew me to this thread while I did searches looking at his old bows. How it slipped by my attention I have no clue. I apologize for dredging up this old thread but.while probably mentioned elsewhere here I saw a webpage today that gave me news that I wasn't aware of but am betting most are.
